Dark Style Co
Dark Style Co is Small Fashion Brand
Filming this commercial in just one day was a real challenge because we could only use public spaces. Coordinating different locations, getting permits, and making sure the scenes flowed smoothly made things even trickier. With such a tight schedule, we had to plan everything meticulously and execute it perfectly to get the shots we needed. Despite all the hurdles, the team's creativity and quick thinking really shone through as they worked their way through different settings to bring the vision to life. This whole experience not only showed how versatile and adaptable our crew is but also highlighted the importance of managing time efficiently and solving problems on the fly in the fast-paced world of commercial filmmaking.
In this cool fashion video, we let our creativity run wild and went all out exploring new ways to tell a visual story. By mixing graphic paper, magazine snippets, and newspaper clippings in the editing, we took the video to a whole new level, making it stand out from the usual high fashion stuff you see online. This fresh combo not only grabbed attention but also gave the narrative a raw, authentic feel, adding a touch of urban grunge that matched our dark, edgy vibe perfectly. Playing with these different elements not only made the video visually intriguing but also gave it a unique personality that connected with viewers on a deeper level, going beyond the typical fashion video scene. It was our bold experimentation and creative storytelling that helped our video find its own special place in the competitive world of fashion content creation.
The Editing Process
This particular style of editing, which involves rotomasking, demands a great deal of patience from the editor. Rotomasking is a technique where specific portions of an image or video are isolated and manipulated separately. This meticulous process can be time-consuming as it often requires the editor to manually trace around the desired elements frame by frame. Despite the availability of automated tools, many editors still opt for manual rotomasking to ensure precision and control over the final output. The attention to detail and dedication required for this technique can be both challenging and rewarding, as it allows for the creation of seamless visual effects and enhancements in the final edit.
